概要

goldbug.page is the personal website of goldBug Studio, run by K. It publishes projects, writing, fiction by M.O., and the privacy policies of goldBug Studio's Apps. The website has no account system, no comment section, no forms, no advertising, and no third-party analytics.

This policy covers the website itself. Each goldBug Studio App has its own policy under /privacy; those documents describe the Apps, not this site.

Data the website collects

The website collects no application data about visitors. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to submit, and no personal information is requested. The only way to send information to goldBug Studio through this site is by writing an email to the contact address.

Hosting and infrastructure

• The website is hosted on Vercel. When a page is requested, Vercel processes the network information needed to deliver and protect the site — such as the visitor's IP address, request URL, and browser user agent — under Vercel's own privacy policy.
• Content images (article covers, fiction covers, and images inside posts) are delivered from Cloudinary's CDN. The browser requests those images directly, so Cloudinary receives the ordinary network information of an image request under its own privacy policy.
• The site's content system runs on goldBug Studio's own server and is contacted by the website's server-side code, not by the visitor's browser.
• Fonts are self-hosted with the website. No requests are made to Google Fonts or other font services when a page loads.

Cookies and local browser storage

The website sets no tracking cookies. A few preferences are kept in the browser's own storage and never leave the device. These values are not transmitted to goldBug Studio or anyone else, and they can be removed at any time by clearing the browser's site data for goldbug.page. The stored values are:

• goldbug-theme (localStorage) — the light/dark theme choice;
• ddbc-best (localStorage) — the best score of the hidden mini-game;
• ddbc-* (sessionStorage) — short-lived entries used by the hidden mini-game's entrance and return path, discarded when the tab closes.

No analytics or advertising

The website includes no analytics SDK, advertising network, social-media widget, or tracking pixel. If site analytics are ever added, this policy will be updated first, and any tool chosen will be a privacy-focused one that works without personal identifiers.

External links

Pages link to external sites such as GitHub and goldBug Studio's Apps (for example n1lab.pages.dev). Those sites handle data under their own policies once you leave goldbug.page.

RSS feed

The site offers a standard RSS feed at /feed.xml. Reading the feed is an ordinary web request handled by the hosting described above; the feed contains no tracking parameters.

Children's privacy

goldbug.page is a general-audience personal website. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated before the website introduces materially different data handling, such as analytics, comments, or forms.
